iPhone 5 – Store Buying Guide

Are you as excited for the new announcement and release of the iPhone 5 as much as we are.

Wondering where you can buy one once it’s released?

Many Smartphone users are anxiously awaiting the arrival of the iPhone 5. We now know that they are shipping out on September 21. Like always, the iPhone 5 will be in demand, and people will have a tough time getting their hands on it. The new iPhone will be sold out at many stores, our where to buy an iPad article was so popular that we’ve created a list of stores which will carry Apple’s new and improved Smartphone:

Apple Store and Pre-order at Apple.com

This is obvious, because most customers purchase their phone from the Apple store. You can buy the iPhone 5 at any Apple retail store. Once you make your purchase, you can either activate your iPhone at the Apple Store or online through iTunes.

AT&T

AT&T has been selling iPhones for years. You can buy the new iPhone at local AT&T retail stores, an AT&T representative will be able to activate your new phone on site.

Best Buy

Best Buy was the first major retailer besides Apple and AT&T to sell the iPhone, however your iPhone purchase can only be made in-store and not online.

Radio Shack

Radio Shack is known for their various electronics, they’ve been carrying cell phones for quite some time now. The iPhone 5 will be available at Radio Shack as well.

Sprint

Unlike AT&T, Sprint recently partnered with Apple by offering the iPhone 4S to its customers. They’re considered to be the third largest mobile phone company in America, so if you’re a Sprint customer, you can look forward to them selling the iPhone 5 at all retail stores.

Verizon

Verizon has been selling Apple’s iPhone for almost two years now. You will be able to buy the iPhone 5 by signing a mobile service contract.

Buy one here once Amazon.com is given permission to sell them.

Craigslist/eBay

Once the new iPhone 5 hits the market, expect it to be available on Craigslist and eBay. Make sure your purchasing a legitimate phone, many people have been scammed by third parties, so be sure to buy from a highly rated dealer. Craigslist offers no ratings, so make sure you get to see the phone beforehand.

Now that we’ve listed all the places, there’s only one thing left to do. Just wait it out until they are shipped in September! Once it releases, you know where to go.
